Rebecca Sesay

Rebecca Sesay is a fifteen (15) years old teenager who was discovered by Bright Light Projects in 2019 at age of 13, when she was reported of being abused at age 13 by an unknown man.

Her case was reported at the Ministry Of Social Welfare Gender And Children Affair Bombali for necessary inquiry and action to be taken, but the perpetrator was unknown.

Since then, Bright Light Project had been given her support and monitors her both school home, also with counseling, and provision of basic cash for lunch as a means of motivation and encouragement.

The young lady was academically excellent when she sat to the BECE examination and was promoted to higher secondary 1, under the support and supervision of Bright Light Projects.

Rebecca Sesay is currently attending the Makeni Compressive Academy Senior Secondary School (MCA) and presently is in higher secondary 2.
