BLP at the Women Empowerment and the Family Centre Buea with other CSOs to Advocate for the Boy-Child

The boy-child, despite how society chooses to treat him, is still vulnerable.
He is a child just like the girl-child, and therefore, should be handled with
care. We should not sit back and assume that because he is male, he will figure his way out of problems.
The WEEK-END WITH BOYS PROJECT is to educate and engage boys in a more holistic approach to gender equality and addresse their own specific vulnerabilities that will have the potential to benefit both boys and girls for a sustainable community.
The project will subject 100 boys from aged 14-25, residing in Buea Municipality to an intensive training in life and business skills trianing, motivational and educative talks, games, Quiz, cooking competition etc.
The boot camp will be held on 18th and 19th August 2023 at the Women’s Empowerment and the Family Centre Buea under the theme
Develop your Talents and Embrace your Uniqueness.
