Franco Bonghan is a visionary energy advocate and international development enthusiast. Co-Chair and Co-Founder of the African & Caribbean Energy Network (ACEN), where he drives renewable energy policy initiatives, mobilizing communities to access affordable clean energy as the foundation for economic transformation and SDG 7. As Founder of Bright Light Projects (BLP), he leads grassroots initiatives that empower marginalized groups through skills training and entrepreneurship, fostering local action against energy poverty and environmental challenges. He bridges global sustainability goals with regional priorities across the three elements of sustainability: economic growth, social inclusion, and environmental protection.
