Our Organizational Model

Bright Light Projects (BLP) operates through a network of locally led country offices that are empowered to design and implement programs tailored to the needs of their communities. Each country office is semi-autonomous, led by local professionals with a deep understanding of the social, economic, and cultural context in which they work.

To ensure strong governance, accountability, and organizational consistency, the Bright Light Projects USA office provides strategic oversight and institutional support across the network. This includes organizational governance, financial oversight, resource mobilization, policy development, capacity strengthening, compliance, and technical assistance.

This model combines the flexibility and responsiveness of locally led organizations with the accountability and institutional support of an established international nonprofit structure. It enables each country office to build strong partnerships with national governments, local communities, civil society organizations, and donors while benefiting from shared standards, systems, and expertise across the BLP network.
