Current Board Opportunities

We are actively recruiting for the following roles:

Board Chair / Vice Chair
Finance & Treasurer
Program & Impact Lead (with focus on Equity & Youth)
Fundraising & Partnerships
Climate & Environmental Sustainability Lead
Advocacy & Policy Engagement
At-Large Members (with expertise in digital, legal, or diaspora experience)

Board Member Expectations

We seek individuals who are ready to:

Attend quarterly board meetings (mostly virtual)
Serve on at least one committee
Champion BLP’s mission and act as ambassadors
Make an annual personal contribution of $2,500 (or equivalent in-kind support)
Uphold the highest standards of governance and fiduciary responsibility

Term: 3 years, renewable for up to two consecutive terms.
