Theory of Change

Because war, Ebola, and conflict scars trap vulnerable youth in poverty and trauma cycles: Intergenerational vulnerability in West Africa, we work in Sierra Leone, Cameroon, and Guinea-Conakry to help girls, orphans, and young men gain skills and agency for self-reliant livelihoods through trauma-informed GSR/YME training and eco-ventures, in order to empower 100,000+ as SDG leaders rebuilding resilient communities by 2030 with Equitable, sustainable futures.

Need (WHY)

War/Ebola/conflict scars exacerbate 70% youth skills gaps, GBV (60% barriers), and land degradation (5,000+ families/year).

Echoes the "Broken Communities in Crisis" section; roots in real scars to build donor empathy.

Work (WHERE/WHO/WHAT/HOW)

Focus on high-need districts (e.g., Makeni/Bamenda); targets 60% girls/orphans/young men; delivers vocational/digital/green skills; via GSR (advocacy/psychosocial) + YME (mentorship/micro-grants).

Unifies pillars: Mend the Gap (reintegration), Reforesting Hope (100 ha restored), #LearnTeachSDGs (1,000+ grads).

Results (WHEN)

95% employment/30% income boosts scaling to 100,000 empowered; 40% pollution cuts; intergenerational equity.

Time-bound to 2030 (Agenda 2063/SDGs); ROI: Every $100 trains 1 youth → 200+ lives via multipliers.
